# "Dat doten ass nach eent vom Simchen"

An exhibition curated by Nico Hamen on ‘Kräizer Simchen’, a craftsman and pedlar from Befort, and his crucifixes.



In a small exhibition, we showcase the craftsmanship of Befort’s “Kräizer Simchen”. Néckel Simon’s natural crosses, made from tree roots, can still be found in many homes today. Do come and have a look at the crucifixes and hear the story of the man who spent years travelling on foot as a craftsman and pedlar.

- From 25 April 2026 to 10 May 2026: in Rindschleiden at the “Thillenvogtei” Museum
- From 11 May 2026 to 18 May 2026: in Binsfeld at the “A Schiewesch” Museum
- From 20 May 2026 until after Pentecost: in the municipality of Befort
